Course Overview 

Introduction to 34 Original Pilates Exercises Practical session performing exercises with the progressions and regressions as stated in our manual. 

Aims & Objectives 

Aims: to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills to instruct a series of the Original Mat Pilates Exercises 
Objective: To understand how to teach, adapt and progress the original Joseph Pilates exercises, enabling a safe and creative class to suit all abilities. 

Practical Session 

Learn how to modify and identify where and when a modifications is required Teaching Points and languages appropriate to the art of Pilates 
Linking exercises for a) whole body approach b) specific muscle groups 


How to plan a Pilates Class - including warm up, main component, cool down and relaxation 
The appropriation of Music and styles of music 
Plan a 45 to 60 Pilates Class incorporating all elements for a whole body approach with music 
Plan Practical Assessment - Delivery of 45-60 minute planned class to a group Certification Course 
Course manual and a library of videos for each pilates linked to the manual via QR Codes 

Guided Learning Hours: 34 hours  Total Hours : 50  Prerequisite : Level 3 Mat Pilates  CIMSPA Endorsed 10 CPD Points
